It was a momentous occasion of joy at Ibadan as the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology Moor Plantation celebrates its 60th anniversary from the 2nd to 7th April, 2024 with the theme “Harnessing the potentials of Colleges of Agriculture to achieve food security in Nigeria”.

Anniversary celebrations kicked off with a road show to create awareness for college activities on the 2nd of April, 2024 during which a courtesy call was undertaken by the Provost of the college Dr. Adekoya Owosibo, management, staff and students to Oyo state commissioner for Agriculture, Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye to seek the support of Oyo state government towards a successful hosting of the event

At the convocation and award ceremony held on the 3rd of April, 2024, graduands of the college were charged to stand as strong linkages between researchers, farmers and industries for higher agricultural productivity. Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, gave the charge in his address. During the awards ceremony distinguished personalities, staff and past students were recognized and honored.

Other highlights of the 60th anniversary celebrations of Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Ibadan were the commissioning of the brand new ultra-modern central administrative building, the expansive new college medical center, a block of classrooms and an office complex among others by the representative of the Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Food security in conjunction with the Provost of the college, Dr. Adekoya Owosibo.
