HND SLT Environmental Biology option
Higher National Diploma of Science Laboratory Department under the School of Pure and Applied Science of the College, was accredited in November, 2022 after meeting the conditions from resource inspection and accreditation of National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), to float HND courses in SLT. The first set of students were admitted for 2022/23 session and admission of students has cut across both Full-time and Part-time study in the college.
Aims and Objectives
The program is designed to; equip students with the basic skills that will enable them contribute positively to the society especially with respect to environmental control; enable the students become innovative, self-dependent and entrepreneurs capable of reconciling the problems of man and his environment; teach the students the need for conservation and recycling; prepare students for the pursuit of various careers in private and public environmental agencies. The graduates would also be able to establish themselves as private entrepreneurs, building man to full acquaintances with the biotic and abiotic factors of his environment.
